About FormStat

FormStat was built by Abdul Hannan, a 4th-year MBBS student at Chandka Medical College, Larkana, Pakistan.

The idea came from a simple observation: most medical students collect research data with Google Forms, but analyzing it needs SPSS — which needs a laptop that most students don't have. FormStat puts those statistics on the phone every student already carries: frequencies, charts, t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square, correlations, sample-size planning and full PDF reports, all computed offline on the device.

Every statistical routine in FormStat is implemented from standard textbook formulas and cross-checked against reference values (R / SciPy / OpenEpi). The app is free and your data never leaves your phone.

What FormStat does

  • SPSS-style frequency tables (frequency, percent, valid percent, cumulative percent)
  • Bar and pie charts for every question
  • Welch's t-test, Mann–Whitney U, one-way ANOVA, Kruskal–Wallis, paired t-test, Wilcoxon, Pearson & Spearman correlation, chi-square and Fisher's exact test
  • OpenEpi-style sample-size calculators and ANOVA from summary data
  • Multiple-response ("tick all that apply") analysis
  • One-tap analyzed PDF reports, with or without charts

What FormStat is not

FormStat is a learning and research aid, not a substitute for a qualified statistician. For work that will guide clinical decisions or publication, have your analysis reviewed by your supervisor or a biostatistician.
