📊 FormStat

Statistics for medical research — on your phone, no laptop needed

FormStat is a free offline web app that does what SPSS does for questionnaire research: frequencies, charts, t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square, correlations and full PDF reports. Built for medical students.

Open FormStat — Free Learn statistics

📊 Analyze Data

Load a Google Sheet, Excel or CSV file — or paste data directly. Get SPSS-style frequency tables, bar and pie charts, descriptives, and one-tap PDF reports. Everything runs offline on your phone.

🧮 Sample-Size Calculator

Work out how many responses you need before collecting data. OpenEpi-style proportion calculator with design effect and finite population correction, plus mean and two-group modes.

Frequently asked questions

Is FormStat really free?

Yes. Every feature — frequencies, charts, t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square, sample-size calculators and PDF reports — is free, with no signup.

Does my data get uploaded anywhere?

No. All calculations run in your browser on your own phone. Your data never leaves your device.

Can FormStat replace SPSS for my thesis?

For standard questionnaire analysis (frequencies, group comparisons, correlations), FormStat implements the same textbook formulas as SPSS and its results are cross-checked against R, SciPy and OpenEpi. For publication-grade work, still have your supervisor or a biostatistician review the analysis.

Which phones does it work on?

Any modern Android or iPhone browser. An Android app version is in development.
